What is Model Context Protocol?
MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants access external data sources and tools securely. With the Lunch Flow MCP server, your AI can query your bank accounts, transactions, and balances.
Natural Language
Ask questions like "What did I spend on groceries last month?" or "Show my checking account balance."
Read-Only Access
The MCP server can only read your data. It can never modify transactions or make changes to your accounts.
Secure by Design
Authentication uses OAuth — no API keys to manage. Bank credentials stay with Lunch Flow, and all code is open source for transparency.

Add an MCP destination in Lunch Flow to enable AI access to your financial data
3. Connect your AI assistant
Add the Lunch Flow MCP server URL to your AI assistant. Sign in with OAuth and start asking about your finances
Setup for Your AI
Copy the config for your AI assistant below. No API keys needed — just add the server URL and authenticate with OAuth.
Claude Desktop
Go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the server URL:
