Australian banks are **not currently supported** due to the high cost of open banking licensing in Australia.

## Why banks aren't supported yet [#why-banks-arent-supported-yet]

After consulting with four Australian providers (Basiq, Adatree, Illion, and Salt Edge), the open banking licensing costs run into the thousands of dollars per month. We need to confirm sufficient demand before taking on that cost.

## What you can do now: Australian brokerages [#what-you-can-do-now-australian-brokerages]

You can connect Australian brokerage accounts via **SnapTrade**, including:

* Interactive Brokers
* CommSec
* Stake

### Connecting a brokerage [#connecting-a-brokerage]

. Navigate to the Connections page
. Click **+ New Connection** and select **Brokerage**
. Search for and select your brokerage
. Log in through the brokerage's secure portal
. Authorise read-only access

Submit a request via the [Feedback Board](https://lunchflow.app/feedback) for your specific bank. You'll receive an email notification once support is available.
